Account deletion request

This page explains how TopChat users can request deletion of their account and associated data.

How to request deletion

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line TopChat account deletion.
2. Send the request from the email address linked to your account, or include the phone number used to sign in.
3. We may contact you briefly to verify ownership before deletion is processed.

What data is deleted

  • Your TopChat profile and account record
  • Your authentication record associated with the account
  • Your uploaded media and profile content tied to the account
  • Your direct-message and group-message content where deletion is supported by the system and product rules

What may be retained

  • Limited security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-monitoring logs
  • Records that must be kept for legal compliance
  • Temporary backup copies for a limited recovery period

Where retention is required, the retained data is kept only for the period reasonably necessary for security, legal, or backup purposes.

Processing time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 to 30 days after account ownership is confirmed.
